Space. Planets. Space Shuttle. Rockets. All in space, but did you know that we are not the only ones who are fascinated by space? 
The Aztecs had huge pyramids that were in almost all grand cities. Those pyramids were dedicated to the solar system and there gods, who they belive created it.  Below is an aztec pyramid.An Aztec Pyramid. You can see that it is different than Egyptian Pyramids
You can see that this pyramid looks nothing like Egytian pyramids.
 The Greek gods had many children, brother and sisters who are related to space and in the cases of Zeus

Ares, a NASA project is designed to take satellites and humans in space. Ares was a ancient Greek god of  war. On the left is Ares V, on the right is Ares I.

Another NASA rocket with a Greek mythical name is Pegasus, a rocket for launching satellites. Notice Pegasus has wings, which makes it unique. Another thing that makes it unique is that it is launched from an airplane! The space shuttle is tested on a modified Boeing 747, so I geuss it kind of makes sense to launch a space shuttle like rocket from a plane.
Ancient civilizations are almost gone. But their memory lives on in modern rockets and other great machines named after them.
Our wonderful sun. The thing earth revolves around. The thing that some ancient civilizations worshiped. The center of our solar system!
